Together let’s find a cure for Sarcoidosis!

SARI, the Sarcoidosis Advocacy and Research Initiative has been established to provide a forum for Sarcoidosis sufferers and a resource to encourage Researchers and Clinicians to work together to find better ways of managing this little known condition and to ultimately find a cure. With your support we can beat Sarcoidosis.

The official launch of SARI by the UNSW DVC RE Prof Nicholas Fisk on the 26th Oct 2023

SARI was launched by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Enterprise, Prof. Nicholas Fisk, at 1:00pm on Thursday 26th October in the Peter Farrell room in the Scientia Building at the UNSW Kensington Campus (Entrance via Botany St).

The cause of Sarcoidosis is still unknown

Some research suggests that infectious agents, chemicals, dust and a potential abnormal reaction to the body's own proteins (self-proteins) could be responsible for the formation of granulomas in people who are genetically predisposed.

Tell us your story
